Who We Are
A student-led initiative turning climate anxiety into measurable action across Indian schools.
Who We Are
EARTH IN MOTION was founded in 2024 by high school students in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, led by Vijay Bollina, a student at The Doon School. What began as conversations about climate anxiety in school has grown into a structured, student-run initiative focused on turning worry into measurable climate action.
We work with student eco-clubs, teachers, and school leadership teams to design and implement small, local projects on campuses and in neighborhoods. Our focus is on actions that students can see, measure, and learn from: planting native trees, mapping heat zones, running climate-anxiety workshops, and writing impact briefs for school leaders.
We are student-run, teacher-guided, and impact-tracked. Every project is documented with simple data—trees planted and surviving, students engaged, workshops delivered—because we believe that honest measurement builds the agency and hope young people need to stay engaged with environmental challenges over the long term.
