Our Impact 2024–25
We track every project using simple data: trees planted and surviving, students engaged, workshops delivered, and campus micro-forests created.
Impact by the Numbers
Every metric represents real student action, tracked honestly and measured carefully.
Native Trees Planted
Across 4 campuses and 2 neighborhood parks
81% survival rate after one year
Students & Teachers Engaged
Through 9 workshops and project cycles
18 teachers actively involved
Student-Run Projects
3 micro-forests, 1 workshop series, 1 climate lab
All tracked with measurable outcomes
Student Volunteer Hours
Contributed across all initiatives
Average 35 hours per active student
Native Species Used
Selected for local climate resilience
Neem, Peepal, Jamun, Mango, and more

Expanding to 3 more cities in 2025
Felt More Hopeful
Post-workshop survey results
Up from 34% pre-workshop baseline
Youth Climate Lab Briefs

Presented to school leadership
Our Journey: 2024–2025
From a single pilot project to a multi-city student movement.
First Pilot Micro-Forest
Planted 120 saplings at Green Valley Senior Secondary School, Dehradun. Student teams designed the layout and selected native species.
Climate Anxiety Workshop Series Begins
Launched first workshop at The Doon School with 45 students. Pre-survey showed 34% felt hopeful about climate action.
Youth Climate Lab Pilot
First student research team mapped heat zones across campus corridors and proposed shade interventions to school leadership.
Expansion to Vijayawada
Partnered with Delhi Public School Vijayawada to launch second micro-forest project, engaging 38 students and 4 teachers.
Six-Month Survival Check
Student monitoring teams conducted first survival audit. Achieved 81% survival rate across all campus projects.
Third Micro-Forest & Workshop Scale-Up
Launched third campus project at Himalaya Public School. Delivered 6 additional workshops reaching 120+ students.
Annual Impact Report Published
Compiled and published comprehensive impact report documenting all projects, metrics, and lessons learned from 2024.
Website Launch & Future Planning
Launched EARTH IN MOTION website to share our work. Planning expansion to 3 new cities and 6 additional campuses.

Goals Through 2026
We're ambitious but realistic. Every goal is designed to be measurable, student-led, and grounded in what we've learned so far.
Plant 1,200 Additional Native Trees
Across 6 new campuses by December 2026, focusing on species that provide shade and support local biodiversity.
Reach 500+ Students Through Workshops
Expand climate anxiety and action workshops to 10 schools across 5 cities in North and South India.
Publish 4 New Youth Climate Lab Briefs
Support student research teams in documenting local climate challenges and presenting evidence-based solutions.
Expand to 5 Cities
Launch projects in Bangalore, Pune, and Chandigarh, building local student leadership teams in each city.
Achieve 85% Tree Survival Rate
Improve monitoring protocols and student care teams to increase long-term survival rates across all projects.
Create Open-Source Toolkit
Develop and share a free toolkit for schools to replicate our programs, including templates, guides, and lesson plans.
